19. HOMEWORK REMINDER (Feedback)

Description:  Robert Marzano cites homework as a best practice but only if it is used strategically.

Application: Homework should be assigned for specific purposes such as to practice, prepare for new material, or elaborate familiar concepts.

Process:  Make sure that students know the purpose and the expected outcome of the homework.  Vary the types of feedback used in order for students to view homework as meaningful. Ensure the proper amount of homework is assigned.
