49. USING TECH: FLUBAROO (Feedback, Discussion)
Description: Flubaroo is a teacher-friendly Google™ Forms quiz platform that makes assessment quick and easy.
Application: Use Flubaroo for on-line multiple-choice or fill-in-the-blank quizzes.
Process: Sign into the Google™ docs account, and create a new "form." Be sure to include a couple of questions that will allow identification of the student (such as first name, last name, student id, and include a field for their email addresses.). After entering questions, save and close the form. Create the answer key. Assign the quiz either by posting a link to the form on the class website or email the link to the class. Open the spreadsheet associated with the form. From the "Add-ons" menu, click "Get Add-ons". To install Flubaroo, type "Flubaroo" in the search box at the top or select the "Education" category from the drop-down on the left. Once found, click the blue "+ FREE" button. Authorize Flubaroo to run and access data in the spreadsheet as well as send emails to students. Click the blue "Accept" button.
