Description: Students will create a list of websites that explain current concepts, topics, and/or events correctly.
Application: Use as an alternative assessment before, during, and/or after a unit of study.
Process: Tell students they must find, research, and document websites or webpages that explain the current learning. Review parameters of the list that includes documenting web addresses, providing brief explanations of why the resources will help learners understand the concept, and giving minimum and maximum numbers of websites listed. Check random websites within lists to ensure validity. Remind students to review websites listed. As an alternate approach, ask students to swap lists and visit websites suggested.
